Wow.. that reminds me of soooooooooooooo many VBAC stories ive read.. First birth the baby was deemed to big for the mothers pelvis, second birth that baby ways lots more than the first! (How happy those women are that they didnt believe the doctors diagnoses of CPD, and tried again!!!) The same in when they diagnose CPD before even a trial of labour.. when there is really no way to say how much the pelvis and muscles will open during labour...


oh btw.. CPD (cephalopelvis disproportion) where the Dr says that a womans pelvis is not large enough to birth a baby (or to only birth a 5 pounder etc).

(And.. I dont mean to say CPD doesnt occur.. just that it is diagnosed a whole lot more than it occurs).
