I think the footage of her grandson is shocking and rightly used as an example of bad standard practices (not the same as here), but I agree it's overused. The insinuation that it has led to his problems as a toddler is flawed without providing any proof or info on the other 27 mths of his life. I agree that babies should be treated with more respect because they are human beings and have rights, as do their parents, but the long-term effects are unknown. You'd lose my DP with these assertions and tactics, which is a shame.
Yeah- that footage was distressing in the beginning and overused by the end. The comments from Dad "time to go to mummy now?" were really upsetting to me though. Abnd the fact they were checking heart rate and wrapping in a blanket etc... I just wanted to scream "give the baby to his mum!!".
My son is a late talker and uber fussy eater... was not seperated or had anything other than mummys breast in his mouth at birth.
