hope your little one arrives soon!
wow i know they come when then ready, but this is new territory for me. 8 days overdue?
my first three babies were a few days early and my fourth was 4 days late.
the wait is excruciating and there are no clues
my heart goes out to anyone having the same and im glad to see 1st time mum and salad have had their babies! so i do know it will happen lol
hope your little one arrives soon!
Being overdue does really suck - I went 14 days over with DD1 and 12 days over with DD2... but it eventually happened!!!!![]()
I hear ya... DD was a few days early but my new DS was a week over... I was so grouchy by the time I went into labour!
And I was so sick of everyone who told me "he will come when he is ready, just be patient!"
Grrrrr to you I used to think, while smiling politely.Vent all you need to!!!
It is indeed the most awful experience EVER, but it does eventually happen.....not always naturally, but the baby HAS to come out!
Good luck...it won't be long
HEY just had a bloody show....first time i seen one before labour has begun....just so excited ive got something to report lol..dont like what the book says which is....
could be 1hr or 24 to 48 hrs or a few days... oh god WHO WRITES THIS STUFF?!
ha ha ha ...love it!
It is horrible being overdue. I went 15 days with my first 11 days with my second and the gift of going 'early' 6 days with my third! Nothing can make you feel better but that baby coming out. I find that the rock bottom day is the day they arrive!!!
Hopefully you and the family are having some sweet time before bubba comes in!
I have told very few ppl when I am acutally 40 weeks, because I want to avoid any sypathetic comments when/if I am "overdue". Baby will come when s/he is ready regardless of the dateSeems as soon as you reach 40 weeks everyone EXPECTS your baby to be ready even though we all know this is hardly the case!
(((hugs))) not long now
xx
Great idea Tanya, I did the same with my last and she cae early hahaha!!! Seems like girls are in the water, is that 4 girls you have??? I just had my third girl!
I can soooooooooooo sympathise with you as I was you four and a half months ago. She was my fifth baby and I hit the 7 days over stage convinced she was stuck in there forever!
She wasnt thoughand was born on the 8th day. So fingers crossed
and legs uncrossed that todays the day!
Must be a surprise going over for your fifth!
But, umm, it will happen.... sorry. Hey, the bloody show means it'll probably be very soon. And if OP's experience is anything to go by, posting a vent like this may be a sign labour is imminent.
Hope it goes well
Big, big hugs!! I went 7 days over with my second and was just about at breaking point, booked myself in for an induction and everything as I was just SO over it... I remember sobbing and yelling at poor DH and DD1 that I just couldn't take it any more, I was in pain, and tired of waiting, and sooo over being so huge... turns out I was in labour already![]()
Sending you heaps of labour vibes, hope it's all over and done with really, really soon so you can relax and meet your new little one and put your feet up and have those precious newborn cuddles! Good luck, vent away, I hope it's not much longer for you!
I hear you! Of my 6 I was 14 days, 7 days, 5 days, 7 days, 9 days and 15 days overdue.
It is a drag.Hoping you are in labour now!
Being overdue is REALLY LOUSY.to you honey! Hope that bloody show was a really good indicator of labour right around the corner for you and that baby arrives quickly! All the best! Congrats on #5!
