Did baby come before planned induction?

I was just wondering who else went into labour the night before they were due to have an induction. I was 10 days over due and was advised to have an induction. The night before I was supposed to have my waters broken I went into labour, things were moving fairly slowly and they asked if I wanted to still have my waters broken and I said yes, 4 hours later and out popped my DD#2. I have heard a lot of women say that they have gone into labour the night before a planned induction, and I was wondering if it could be psychological or just a coincidence, what do you think?

I know of a lot of women who've just avoided their induction date by having bubs earlier. With my last pg my induction was booked first for the 18 september, then I managed to get them to move it back to the 26th, but Alister was born on the 18th anyway under his own steam. I did let them break my waters though to keep things chugging along.

I think it might be one of those "chicken and egg things" - generally if someone is considering induction they're already due or postdates so the window of time that baby would arrive in was getting smaller and smaller anyway - making it more likely they'd be born around the time the induction was planned anyway...

We booked an induction for ten days after her due date as my hubby was going away that weekend and we obviously wanted him at the birth but Taya was born exactly on her due date! With no tea/oil/concoctions attempted to bring on labour..

My Dr started talking about inducing me when I was 35 weeks because of high BP. I guess all the talk of induction made DD determined to come on her own.
She was born at 37 weeks, a week before I was supposed to be induced.
