I was in active labour and then my midwife asked if I would like to go home and spend as much time as possible at home and I was a bit apprehensive because contractions hurt and he was doing a great job of taking my mind off of things but I went home anyway. Well I had my last contraction in the car on the way home at about 11:30am and it is now 3:51pm and there has not been another contraction. Why is this happening? Don't get me wrong, I was able to get some sleep but now it looks like an induction for the AM and I really wanted to avoid this. Not so possible with ruptured membranes and GBS though...Could my fear of labouring at home done this? I thought it worked the other way around![]()

What can I do to get things going again. I go to the hossy again at 6 for my next dose of antibiotics
