asking for birth notes from frankston hospital??

ok i have a few unanswered questions form my birth that i would like to know!!

anyone one from BB requested there birth notes form frankston hospital???
how much was the cost and how do i go about it??

It shouldn't cost you anything to get your birth notes hun. My hospital gave me a copy when I left as well as a copy for my MCHN. I would just call the Maternity Ward and ask for them to be posted out to you or if you want to go in and collect ask them to leave a copy at reception.

i thought they gave them to you. i got mine and for my MCHN. agreed with Oshani

i never got mine! i wouuld be interested to see them too. i was at royal brisbane though....

nope got nothing!! i had heard you have to pay for them??

i am going to ring the hospital now and check it out!! i had a bad midwife and because of her lack of support would like to know what she wrote down!!

You shouldn't have to pay for them. If they try and do that ask for your file... you have a right to access it as it is your info.

I'd call them tomorrow
