    Wow I hadn't even thought of this! I hope it's not true as DS will be 4.5 when bubba arrives.

    There's 5 years between my two. I don't know about the actual labour as I was a VBAC, but as for carrying and breastfeeding/recovery afterwards my body certainly remembered. I was showing at 8 weeks. Even when people have babies close together each labour is different, I'm wondering how someone would know that it was like a first birth just because there was a larger age gap - what are they comparing that with? It could just be how that person gives birth

    Im with you Yeddi.

    I've just heard a few things from a few older ladies - whether or not its an old belief I am not sure. I cant see how your body would forget. This is what a womans body is designed to do!
