Poor bubba, please wrap her up again and give her back to Mummu

Maybe someone should stream a homebirth

The light must seem so bright to a bubba hey. At least at the same time they're taking mum's canula (is that what it's called?) out, so she'll be more comfy.

ETA: I keep being impatient for the feed, but I remember how time didn't seem to work properly when my babies were born, it was aaages before my second got a feed. It is sweet to see them snuggle though.

Yay for the feed! Great how the doc/mid/whatever is helping but not doing that whole 'boob, meet baby' - SHOVE thing. Seems nice.

I can't get over how neat the Mum looks. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror when I showered after birthing Yasin and I was a wild-eyed, crazy haired mess. I bet she doesn't go red when she jogs either!!

    There's a Starbucks at Westmead.
You'd think that a hospital would want a healthier food outlet than McDonalds.

Mumma wanted a Big Mac during the birth "I'm hungry".
Macca's in the hospital - seems like a contradiction.
