    I don't think I have the personality to handle having anyone else in there. I'm too independent. hehe. I'd probably get annoyed with the Doula telling me what I should try. I'm much better off reading up on it all myself, and then just coming up with the ideas myself during labour.

    A doula doesn't tell mum or dad what to do in that way LOL! She melts into the background when required and is there when needed - but she will suggest things if need be. She doesn't say, 'hey you, up on the bed now' or 'why dont you get on all fours!' It more about exploring what you feel comfortable with and getting action going when needed too.
