I'm B-
DS1 total labour approx 8 hours, mild/easy contractions with only last 2-3 hours active labour.
DS2 total labour approx 7 hours, as with DS1 it was mild with only last 2 hours active labour.
For the purpose of LM's theory - DS1 is B+ and DS2 is B-

Don't worry Indadhanu, I can ease Shel's mind on that front, my second was 50min.
My first was 11 hours (started off posterior and also labour pretty much stalled during the 30min drive to hospital). Second less than an hour but was engaged from 20 weeks, smaller than the first, only 18months between births, and if you believe personality is any factor than in this case it pretty much explains everything.
My pre-labour was 8 long painful hours but my actual established labour was only 3 hours and 50 minutes...
and is it bad that I have NOOOO idea what blood type I am?! LOL
I know I am positive... just don't know if I am A, B or O
I'm an A+ as is my DP and both the boys.
DS1's labour was documented (from 4cms dilation) as 18 hours, first contractions started 2 days after PPROM, which happened 344.75 hours prior to birth. From when they were 1-2mins apart lasting 1min labour was about 24 hours. He was born at 30+1 weeks.
DS2's labour is documented as about 9 hours (again from 4cms), first contractions started at 26 weeks. From when they were 1-2mins apart lasting 1min labour was about 12 hours. He was born at 34+3 weeks.

With DS I was induced with the gel at 41+3 and he was born at 41+5 by emergency c-section after he got stuck. He was also posterior and I had an epidural.
Total time between the gel being inserted and the very first irregular contractions that started pretty much right away and him being born was 41.5 hours, active labour after the drip was put in was around 28-30 hours.
On a side note, my mum is A+ too and was in labour with me for 36 hours, I got stuck and she almost needed an emergency c-sec when I became extremely distressed. She was almost 42wks with me.
My brother is also A+ and my mum was in labour with him for 1.5 hours from the very first contraction... she claims that the Raspberry Leaf Tea she'd been taking from 30wks onwards with my brother was the reason why it was so quick lol She was a bit over 42 weeks with my brother too.
It will be interesting to see how long my next labour is since I'm going for a VBAC

I'm type AB+ and I've had all quick, relatively easy labours. #1 - 7hr, #2 - 7hr, #3 - 2hr, #4 - 4hr, #5 - 2hr labour + 1 hr pushing, since he was a brow presentation.
