Is this a bloody show or something else??

This is probably a bit strange coming from a mother of four, but I have never had a bloody show or lost a mucus plug before.

Ok, so for the last 24 hours I have had loads and loads of snot-like mucus, stained with blood every time I go to the toilet and wipe. (which was ever 10 minutes through the night....no kidding

)

Is this my "show" or could it be something else? I have been getting BH for weeks, but that side of it has actually setttled down the last couple of days. I'm confused!!

How long should this mucus last? Surely there can't be that much in there?? LOL

ARRRGGGHHHHHH.....I just want to have this baby!!!!

I think your show can be quite large (or small - like everything else to do with having a baby - everyone is different

it's frustrating that there are not set rules

). It sounds like it would be your show. While it probably feels like you are losing a lot, it probably looks like a lot more than it actually is.

It all sounds very exciting and I think we will be seeing a BA from you in the very very near future.

When i had a show with my first it was only a little bit of blood, but i lost my plug with DS it was a fair bit like you said snotty mucus with blood, its gross.
I think i was in labour about 24 hrs later. Sorry not much help

Mine started @ 4am Wednesday morning and I am still getting heaps and heaps when I wipe - so much so I have to wear a pad. It's def a show as it's the thick sticky blood stained snotty substance my MW told me about.. But my MW said today that it could be days before labour even though I'm having contractions on and off today... Hurry up babies!!

I'm sitting here willing contractions to start, lol. Probably putting way too much pressure on myself. Arrggghhh, I don't think I've ever been so frustrated!!

I had grey blood streaked stuff with DD1 before labour, nothing til later with the others..

ooh! Definitely sounds like the plug!!
Mine was like snot, big globs with a little tinge of blood... and i got it for the 48hrs before I went into labour.
