I came across this very empowering video today, it goes for 16 minutes but it is worth every second, including the letter at the end of the video. I was in tears watching it for so many reasons.

The mother Alex, have two C/S's before her home VBA2C, she knew that the hospital would push her for another CS so she took control of her birth choices and made the right decision for her.

I cried and cried watching this...I cried as my skin crawled watching her second baby being born by c-section...and cried as her baby was born into her arms, and her partner kissing her...and as she said 'I'm holding my baby!'

How quietly dignified and firm was her letter at the end - brilliantly written! And I loved the midwife's response to DH about bub not crying because she's where she should be, with her mumma, not in the hands of strangers. It just made me even more determined not to leave home when my turn comes
