    Default Chiropractic Intervention during labour

    Hi
Just wanting to know if any ladies have had or know of anyone that has had a chiro present at thier birth.
I am due in June, and am opting for an all natural birth. Avoiding the epidural due to back issues.
My chiro has offered his assistance and attendance at the birth, and just wanting to get some feedback.
    Cheers
    Amanda

Haven't heard of that in Oz, but I did watch a TV show called House of Babies about a birth centre in the US (Miami I think!), and one episode starred the centre's chiro and his wife giving birth. Perhaps you could try to hunt that down for more info?

I just had an adjustment the day before I went into labour (probably triggered it off), and then another about 3 days later.

I don't know why he would need to be present at the birth though. I don't get it.

I will do some further investigating!
Thanks for the feedback so far.
    Cheers
