    Could this be it???

So I have passed 34 weeks now with the twins with my belly measuring at 45 weeks, my Ob told me last week to "be prepared".

This morning around 5.30am I woke up with the usual feeling I get when I'm about to get my period, a low down continual crampy feeling. I got up to go to the loo in case that was the reason but when I got back into bed the discomfort continued enough to not let me get back to sleep but not strong enough for me to be in pain.

I've been up and walking around and have been getting tightenings and some pain "down there" but still not enough to have me doubled over in agony. I haven't timed any of the contractions as yet as I thought I might wait to see if things get stronger over the day.

My DH knew this would happen as my Ob is on holidays this week....

As I never experienced labour with DD I don't know what to expect......

It could very well be the start of labour. My first labour started like that. Soft period like cramps that gradually got closer together in duration and intensity (it took well over 24hrs like that however) I never had a show and my waters didn't break until I was pushing. Does it feel like your uterus is tighter when your having the cramy feeling? I guess with 2 bubbas in there its tight all the time.

Its hard to say. My Pre labour was like this but the start of my labour was the same too... except it started with my waters breaking. GL

Could be some pre-labour babe. So as exciting as it is just try to rest as much as you can. You don't know how long it could last and you will have your arms full with twins so a last min nanna nap now would be a good idea. Yay for some babies!!!
