Could this be part of my Mucus Plug?

I have had some snotty like discharge today (orangey/browny in colour and only when I wipe) with some streaks of red blood in it, not alot but enough to notice a difference between normal discharge.
Do you think it coule be part of my Mucus Plug?
I had a feel down there and in there a couple of night ago, haven't done it before, but was just curious to have a feel to see what was going on, but had no idea what I was feeling for I was also wondering what your cervix feels like, to those who have had a feel! And could have this caused the blood streaked mucus?

I had a threatened labour which was stopped with nethedapine (sorry can't remember spelling) at 32 weeks. I had similar discharge then that the midwife and Doc said could be my MP, just curious to know what my BB support group think

It could be part of your plug or possibly when you had a feel you scratched yourself and that is what the blood is. I have no idea what your cervix is supposed to feel like - never been able to reach that far LOL.

Sounds like it. Maybe you stirred up something when you had a poke around.... Sometimes a bit of it can come away but your body will regenerate it if not all has come away & its not ready.

Thanks ladies, I think you could be right. I have been getting lower back ache and increased BH makes lately which makes me think it might be something starting to happen, but just don't know. But after learning that you can loose your whole MP and be 2-3cm dilated and still walk around for several weeks without anything happening, makes me think it could still be weeks off. This will probably be me for sure

My mucus plug was something like what you described.. so maybe?
I saw mine on tuesday and gave birth on saturday.

How much did you have Karina? I haven't had that much, all up maybe only enough to cover a 50cent piece, I reckon. From what I have heard other women to describe theirs as it seems to be a big blob like the size of golf ball or something.

I didnt have very much either.. a bit more than a 50c piece, but it wasnt like a golf ball size, but I guess everyone is different. I lost mine in two bits.

I lost my Mucous plug almost 2 1/2 weeks ago over 3 days.

The first 2 days it was yellow/clear mucous with bright red streaks of blood about 1ml each. (it was one offs - they came out and that was it - didnt continue to come out on wiping etc during the day) then on the 3rd day had a big blob of dakrish brown blob about 30ml (it looked like yogo - the dessert - i can never eat it again now lol).

I have been having BH one and off with 2 x days of regular strong BH (one day was 24hrs 5-20minutes apart continuously and the other a week later was 7 hrs @ 6-7 minutes apart) and i am still here waiting! lol.

I have a dr's appointment tomorrow not that they will tell me much as i am avoiding internals (i think it is best to leave that area alone!).

I know you can get similar blood stained CM if you have had intercourse that day so it could have been from touching?
