Question Did you "drop" before birth?

Just wondering when, if at all, bubs dropped before birth for you?

Charlotte dropped about 34 weeks I think, then again at the day or so before I went into labour.
This one I am getting some weirdo prelabour stuff going on, or rather, off and on lol but as bubs hasn't dropped considerably I am really not too concerned...
So wondering if it is possible to have bubs without that classic drop?

I did drop a little but not so you'd really notice I just knew because I could breathe easier.

    Not long to go now.

I'd get other people telling me i had or i hadn't which ended up confusing me no end. I had lots of painful pelvic twinges from 35-36 week mark that would make me double over but they eased after a week or two.

During the labour of DD i felt the head drop during active labour. With my boys i never felt it, probably because i was stuck on a bed.

I only ever dropped with DD1 - so second baby. But even then it wasn't till just after labour started. The other 3 never dropped, even though they were engaged.

    Huh. Well there you go!

This one has been low throughout the whole preg, despite my bump being quite in the middle. But she has been head down for a couple of weeks now, and been pushing on my cervix the whole time too anyhow...
    Maybe I won't get a drop! lol
Oooh it is all quite random really isn't it?

Lime, I think I didn't drop with the other 3 because they were all ridiculously long babies, so even though they engaged, they used the extra room to stretch out.

Dd1 never dropped, she was breech and her hips were dislocated so she couldn't turn or drop but I went into labour at 34 weeks and had a emergency c sect.

Dd2 dropped and I went into labour the next day, but that was at 35 weeks so I was on medication for two weeks. She had a bug hematoma on her head.

Ds dropped and engaged at 34 weeks and again I went into labour a few hours later, I was on bed rest until 39 weeks when my waters broke.

Yep sure is! DS didn't drop until my waters broke after 15 hours of active labour. By that time I was already in hospital & 8cms dilated.

Pie didn't drop until about 10 minutes before she was born

Best as I can remember, the boys stayed fairly high in the last few weeks too.

    DS didn't engage or drop.
DD engaged and I noticed a drop about a week before she was born.
