Congratulations!! I totally agree, my dog must have sensed something before i even knew i was pregnant, he all of a sudden became very protective of me in the beginning and would sit on my lap and sniff my tummy (he is a chihuahua - so only a little dog sitting on my tummy) then when we found out i was pregnant he soon settled down at home, but when we would go walking or take him places or people would come over he was so protective of me that he would growl at people and bark. When it was only a week or two before giving birth, he would follow me like there was no tomorrow, he would rest his nose on my belly for ages, it was really cute.

They are amazing animals!
