Statistically first time mums do go a day or two longer than others. The average for everyone is actually a little over 40weeks anyway! But of course thats just an average and the bell curve has a big wide spread! I spent so much time trying to figure out when bub would arrive but it really is a useless endeavor. They will come when they're ready (or forced out!) and not a minute sooner! Get used to the fact that you cannot control what your baby wants haha. Spend the time resting, being kind to yourself and cherishing those wriggles

(btw I was so sure I'd be early and was 8 days late! I wish I had not had any expectations cos I became so impatient in that last week!)
