    Epidurals and postpartum hemorrhage

I had an epidural with my first labour and had to go to theatre after due to postpartum hemorrhage, this is something id like to avoid on subsequent labours....both the epidural and bleeding. (when that time comes)

Is it likly that the PP hemorrhageing was casued by the epidural and would my chances of avoiding PP bleeding be better if i avoided another epidural (something i want to do anyway)

DP is very worried that i will have another PP hemorrhage again but worse next time, are my chances of another bleed increased as it happened last time?

I have googled this but only seem to find long and confusing journals and papers and differing opinions, and then i found something that said PP hemorraging can make it harder to conceve next time dure to scar tissue....so i thought, 'time to get off google'
    TIA

I have read that PPH can be a side affect of synto so if they used it to assist helping birth the placenta then that could be more the issue than an epidural.

FWIW I've had synto all 4 times and had 2 PPH's so it could be a side affect in my case
