Help me kill time :) How long after your waters broke did CX start ?

2 hours and then it was straight into established labour within 20 minutes.

6 days!!!! they gave me something to stop the cx while i was transferred between hospitals and i honestly think if i hadnt of taken that she would have been here the same day.
hope u dont have to wait too long!

First time - 15 mins and then DD was born 2 hours later and second time - immediately and DS was born one hour later.

Mine didn't start at all with Ds ... Waters broke at 3am, they induced me 2 days later at 12:30pm. (33.5hrs later, they wern't supposed to let me wait that long apparently??)

20 minutes for my older sister! My younger sister was a tad daunted because she was driving my older sister to hospital when the first, very intense contraction hit. Apparently my older sister shouted so loud that younger sister almost swerved into the other lane

I continues driving home (yes broke while I was driving home from Yoga), 45 minutes later the ctx started at 5 min appart, we got to the hospital 45 min after that and they were 3 min appart, got to delivery suite internal and I was 7-8cm, baby was born 1/2hr later

With dd15 they never broke...she was 'born in the caul' (XDH thought she was born without a face )
Next three broke sometime during labour.
dd3 broke 2 hrs before labour.
dd2 broke at 26+6 weeks and I lasted to 28+1 weeks.

Immediately they ramped up for me! I'd had niggles from 6am then my waters broke at 7.15ish am and BAM! it was on!!

apparently after 12 hours infection can set in. because ds2 wasnt born untill arround 18hours after mine broke, i copped a huge ear bashing of one midwife and both ds2 and i had to have antibiotic drips and blood tests every few hours for a few days "just to be sure" due to the time frame.

It depends on hospital policy - with DD, my group practice mw was happy to let me go to 4days as long as I took my temp every 4hours and she would come and see me 2x a day. With DS, they were giving me to the Monday morning, so that would have been 35 hours (luckily for me, L&D were really busy, otherwise it would have been 24hrs) and it was a different hospital each time. Although with DS, i was GBS positive, so had to head to hospital once my waters broke for antibiotics anyway.

With DD, contractions started 16hours after waters broke and she was born after another 16hours, but between them breaking and labour starting, I was getting uncomfortable niggles.
DS, it was 24hours without a single niggle until they started, but then it was only 4hours till he was born, (and only less than 1.5hours of active labour)

My water broke at 4:15am and I didn't get contractions til around 5pm, which were 5mins apart. P was born 5:46am

Mild ctx after a few hours, but established labour after 17 hours, then another five until she was born. I lost ALL my waters too...it was like a bucket full of water and my stomach visibly shrank!
