I felt really "off" the night before. Its hard to explain & DH thought I was making it up so I didnt have to go to church with him lmao. I was 7 days over due & contractions started at 5 the next morning. At least I then go to do the whole "told u so" to DH LOL
This time round the hospital brokemy waters so I didnt have the pre labour so to speak.
I woke up earlier than normal to AF pain. I went to the loo and noticed I was having a slight show. This continued throughout the day. I had fairly normal energy for the morning.
The AF type pain got worse as the day went on. I was able to eat lunch in a shopping centre but had difficulty walking around it as I was starting to have the beginnings of early contractions and would have to stop and hold on to something or lean against a wall. The walking exhausted me but I think it helped get the labour started.
I had to go to the loo a few times that day to do no. 2. I just knew labour was on it's way.
By 5pm I was having painful contractions every so often but labour didn't really start until about 9pm that night.
As the day wore on I went from excited to nervous.
Hi!
I remember feeling a bit nervy after my 39 week check up...my ob/gyn said -and did- a few things that didnt sit quite right with me , so that was also on my mind. this occured on a Friday afternoon
On Saturday morning my DF and I drove up the mountains to house sit for a friend while she was away. There was some gorgeous rainforest walks in the area (Mt glorious/Mt Nebo) so I took a few of them! They were quiet long walks and immediately I started having contractions every 10 mins. I felt a bit seedy or topsy turvy in the guts too. Contractions kept going thru Saturday night's meal at the restuarant , all thru the night and all day Sunday aswell. Couldnt quite rest well.
On Monday morning, which was the B-day, I felt soo crook! As we were driving back home. I felt incredibly hot and needed to go for a swim. This was a tad strange as it wasnt really that hot of a day! DF and I stopped by Southbank (brissy) and I jumped in the lagoons. The water was bliss! It was cold, but great!
A few english backpackers commented on my bravery for going in, as I was one of the only people in the lagoon, just *trying* to float around.
Within 15 mins of me exciting the water, my waters gushed....Im SOOOO glad I was still in my boardies!
That occurred around MIdday and C was born at 11:18pm on the same day, Anzac Day!
