I can have a waterbirth afterall!

We did the hospital tour today. I'm so glad we did. I was thrilled to learn that a waterbirth is still an option for me. Ok there are some criteria (which all sound reasonable to us) but it's a possibility! !!! So happy. I also can go ahead with whatever I choose despite their policies. (Which sound fIne except continuous monitoring which I voiced my disinterest in)

I knew that- but hearing the mw say it, and locking eyes with her was awesome. I am so proud of myself right now. I was uneasy walking into the birth suite, but soon felt fine again. I left feeling fearless this time!

To top off a great day, DS took his first real steps today regardless of the fact his surgery is yet to be done. I was stunned. Its like an omen of amazing feats yet to come for me and my babies.

What a great day!!! I love your frame of mind, and good on you for looking her in the eye and voicing your opinion. I would be proud too

Very cool.

My bro started walking before his surgeries, and then kept breaking his plasters trying to walk in them. Could be extra fun for you after DS' op.
