I just lost my MUCOUS PLUG!!!!! (SP?)

I just had to come on & tell everyone my exciting news.....

I JUST LOST MY MUCOUS PLUG (SP?)!!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm assuming this means things are starting to move along???

I dont really know what it means as I never lost it with DD but I know it's a good thing hehe

I'm so excited I have butterflies in my tummy!

Well thats it... now back to the waiting game.

Feel free to tell me how long after you lost your plug you went into labour (especially if it was soon after LOL)

Oh & I had a stretch & sweep yesterday morning (I think thats what its called)

How exciting Danielle! I never saw mine, my waters broke and I went into labour an hour later. But I will say this.........

GO TO BED AND GET SOME SLEEP! You need to rest up hun, so don't sit on BB all night LOL. Good luck with the birth, you'll be great

I think it was within 48 hours when I lost mine.
How exciting!!
Just remember it could still be up to 2 weeks away Sorry.
It won't take that long though. I'm sure of it.

Danielle, how very exciting for you hun.

A show means that your cervix is starting to thinnen out and maybe even dilating a little. However, sorry, it doesn't mean that labour is immenant(sp). Enjoy being pregnant hun, even if it's just for a day or 2 more.

Oh FWIW though, I lost my plug during the afternoon of the Monday and all day tuesday. I birthed Joel 2.30am Wed morn. Never lost it with any of my other babies

Ooooh, how exciting Danielle. With all three of mine, I lost my plug and went into labour within a day and a half of it.

Oooh, how exciting! I lost mine at the start of labour with both my boys. A lot of my belly buddies lost their plug and had their bubs within 24 hours!! (Sorry, don't mean to get your hopes up LOL)

I lost mine at 4am on the Sunday and had DD at 4pm Monday!
Although I have a friend who lost hers 2 wks before her bub was born...

Thanks everyone, still no signs of bubs making his enterance LOL I knew he wouldn't be here within 24 hours but its a very exciting start to things

I'm thinking something may happen this coming week though (just a hunch) I've gone into nesting mode OVER-DRIVE today, finally got the nursery started LOL I'll post a pic of my progress soon. DH has been helping & everytime he wantes to stop I say "I'll just......." & he's saying "I hate this nesting stage, come & sit down for a while!" hahahahaha It's worth it though to get it started

Kristy you are on the sms list LOL don't you worry, you'll know when it happens!! (I wouldn't be checking every hour though, water still hasn't broken, no contractions yet & still losing plug throughout today hun, but so sweet of you to do so hehe)

Well just so you know. My nesting was done the day before I had DS.
I just wish I was home to clean my own house. Instead I swept, mopped & vacuumed MIL's floors. & cleaned some of her walls! Thats after going into town shopping with her!

... I lost my plug 2days before birth ... pretty much 48hrs from losing the plug to the actual hour I gave birth (my birth was a quick one 2.5hrs )

... How exciting it's all systems go for you from here on
