I think it's best to phone your hospital and have a chat with the midwives. If you might be going into early labour they will want you in ASAP so the can give steroids and so on.
It's much better to make a wasted trip to hospital than to wish later hat you had gone in earlier.

I agree with Onyx - I ama couple of weeks behind you and had what we think was my water breaking today after several days of the exact pain and sensations you are discribing. I had a pop and then a gush of water but nothing really since. I rang the midwifes and got checked out. They still don't know whats going on but they are aware of it and if anything changes i can go straight up there.

My suggestion would be to give them a call just to put your mind at ease and to also let them know this is going on.

Hun never feel silly or paranoid for asking or calling your MW, OB or Dr

That is what we are all there for, it is more important that you ask and get some feedback advice or direction, then sitting back wondering and potentially getting worried or stressed

DD didn't stop moving at all, I was doing yoga right before my water broke and she was going crazy, even my yoga teacher was laughing at my belly bouncing around She was also moving as she came out, as they lost the HB, but I was sure she was ok.

I would give them a call and get checked out, they will get you to come in if they think you need to be checked and they will run a CTG to see if you are contracting, and if you aren't then you know it is pre labour and you can just go along for the ride.

You would really want to be in the hospital if something was happening at this stage of pregnancy, after being there I would go in hun

    Thinking of you xxoo

I rang the midwives at the hospital and explained all my symptoms. They have said to keep and eye on it over the next few hours and to come in if it gets worse - they didn't seem at all concerned. I know they are the experts here and I should listen to them (and I will go in if it gets worse) after all the issues i've had at this hospital though, their words don't fill me with confidence.

I'm sure I will know it when it happens...but like i've said, since my dr told me he really thought i'd go early i've become paranoid and since I didn't get to experience any part of a "natural labour" (I was induced with DD) I'm scared i'll miss some sign

Thanks girls for your support and advice... i know i'll be back in again before baby comes asking more questions.

I don't think you will miss any sign - there's a definite difference between pre-labour and labour.

Try to take it easy and not think about it too much

Apart from the lack of sleep from a sick child I'm doing ok. Pain seems to have stopped which is a good sign. Need to keep myself busy (or sleeping in todays case LOL) keep my mind off it - maybe then I won't be so paranoid about it

Good to hear that you're OK! Now don't keep too busy, alright!
