Labour Aid Drink...calcium and magnesium during labour.

My doula suggested Labour Aid for when im in labour, basically a mix of lemon juice, honey, calcium and magnisum.

Ive been reading up on it to find out about the calcium and magnesium and what they will actually do for me. Apparently calcium is really good for easing pain and magnesium is good the releave muscle cramps and pain.

Has anyone else had labour aid and did you find it did anything for you. Does anyone know anything else about calcium and magnesium in labour???

    TIA

Check out the Joyous Birth site, there is heaps of mention of magnesium in particular, for birth.
Most often mentioned by the freebirthers and homebirthers.
