I was counting on the genetic thing to kick in... but nope not for me. Mum had a 6hr labour with me, no tears or cuts, and 4hrs with my brother. Mum gave birth two weeks before her edd on both occasions. I was in labour for 27hrs, emergency c/s and 41wks so definatley not like my mum
