I always recommend the Weenee newborn nappy pads, these go in pouch for nappies usually, but they are the perfect size for mama pads, they end up being cheaper because you normally use two maternity pads at a time, but these ones you don't need two. They have no plastics in them and they are flushable, if you want I never did though. What ever you have left you can put in as a booster in cloth nappies.
