Hi
I had a mildly prolapsed bowel and vaginal rectoceale (sic) after my first baby. After the second one it was a total disaster and I had to have major surgery to repair my bowel. It still isn't quite right, so I am having a ceasar for this baby. The OB suggested not having the rectoceale repaired as the operation has a high rate of failure and infection.
He said he was happy to deliver my next baby naturally if I wanted to, but there is a very high chance that the damage would be unrepairable and I would be the one wearing a nappy when I am older.Given that the operation I have already had was not completely successful I have decided to have a ceasar.
