    Mucus plug

What is it like? Can it vary? Today I've had very stringy mucus and quite a but so much so I've had a pad on all day and there was a spot of blood when I went to the toilet but only small and no more blood since.
I've also been very crampy since like Braxton hicks/period pain but a lot worse.

With DS2 my plug didn't have any blood only alot of mucus like a big blob of clag glue someone described it to me as. Maybe if your getting cramps too it might be wise to ring the hospital and ask them if it's ok to come get checked.

I got string blood stained mucous.. Some times your plug can also be watery..
    Are you drenching a pad?
Are your pains coming in intervals or is it consistent?
Depending what the blood was like I would probably give the hossy a ring to see hat they think?

It was literally only a smear of punk when I wiped so not overly concerned about that.
I haven't noticed a pattern to the cramping but we have been at the in laws so I didn't want to make it obvious there as there would be such a fuss n carry on

My plug was a tampon shaped glob with pink in it (TMI sorry!) I know it is normal to have increased cm in the lead up but the blood, small as it is would worry me. Can you give your hospital/middies a call while in the bathroom or something. Just to be on the safe side. Better to be safe and told not to worry than be sorry darls. xoxox

Would it be weird for Braxton hicks to be averaging 4 min intervals and 34 secs in length (according to an app on my phone)

From when I was researching them (as I had plenty) any more than 4 an hour isn't right... however it can be pre-labour rather than braxton hicks... but best to try and get them to disappear with a shower / a bath or by doing something different and if they are still around or get closer together or last longer give the hospital a call... pretty please

Still cramping with the same averages of interval and length but they aren't painful as such more a very heavy dull ache.
I have a hot water bottle to see if that helps the bath didn't and waitin on a midwife to call me back
