Fantastic - they're finally listening properly and they're slowing down :) Hope you're allowed home soon
I'm so pleased things are settling, I hope it settles completely and you are home soon xx
Glad to hear things are settling down for you. Those little boys need a bit more baking before their arriving
Mrs S: OMG, I'm thinking of you and those boys need to stay put for 2 more weeks so you don't have to go to Melbourne. I am feeling your pain as I just want mine to leave the "premises" now as well but all I keep thinking is get to 34 weeks then you can come whenever you like.
Maybe it is your body telling you that you really need a rest as with school holiday's you have 2 girls to run around after at home and it is just too much, I find chasing after 1 hard enough. Take it easy and try to relax as much as possible and hopefully things will settle down for you very soon.
Hope things have settled for you this morning, stay put little boys.
Hospital are doing another swab as I've filled a 1/3 of a very absorbent maz pad with fluid since 6am so checking my waters because since then too the tightenings are back with vengeance and I throw up eating or drinking anything but water, I know I'm staying in another night at least

Honey, sending you lots of belly (and back) rubs. So happy the hossie finally paid attention and are trying to slow things down for you.
Oh no :( I really hope you can hang on longer.
Still waiting in the swab results but everytime I stand up I feel the wetness it even feels wet now only changed the pad approx 30-45 mins ago.
Wonder why they haven't told me the swab results it was only supposed to take 10 mins

I saw ur updates on FB but only just come across this thread! Wishing you all the best hun xoxo
Wishing you all the best x
Hoping they can slow this down for you still.
I have everything crossed you can hang on longer
Swab was negative for amniotic fluid not sure how because I just had an ultrasound and the tech said there is very little fluid.
Twin A is breech (bottom first) and twin B still transverse but the tech said they have absolutely no room to flip so that's how they'll stay.
A's bottom isn't locked in but hovering just over my pelvis .
Protein was found in my urine and I'm anemic apparently waiting on more blood test results for other deficiencies and they've stopped the meds to slow the labour as it's making my heart rate too fast
Apart from that I'm so hungry the food is foul you dry reach just smelling it!

So confusing, sometimes I wonder about all these tests they do. So what do they think is filling the pads if not amnio fluid? (sorry maybe TMI)
Ask DH to bring you in some food :)
Hope you manage to get some sleep and not stress too much, easy to say I know.

Mrs S it might be tmi but when a similar thing happened to me they finally worked out Ds was engaged and sitting on my bladder so I would leak every time I had a contraction. This was after 5 days of tests in hospital.
I was wondering if that sort of thing could happen. Pregnancy/labour does wonderful things to our bodies!!!
Hope you managed to finally get the drugs and you can get some sleep. Hugs xx
Oh hun :( I have everything crossed for you xx
After an hour and a half I got my water and pain killers typical it's night shift no check up scheduled now until 6.30am and a really nice midwife has just started her shift so will be knocking off shortly after checking me in the morning

I only just found this thread. I really hope your bubbas can stay in there just a while longer and i hope you arent too uncomfy. try and get some sleep xoxox will be thinking of you.
Oh MrsS what are they doing! If the u/s showed very little what is their plan?
They seem a little slow??
I'm still here lol just been busy today but I'm here lol

Yes i was wondering the same thing. What is their plan re lack of fluid. Hoping they are taking good care of you and your boys xx
Thanks LMS
Yep they are extremely slow! They shunned my doula into a corner today because she "only a doula" which I thought was extremely rude!
Not sure they have looked at the u/s report yet I'll ask in the morning I'm just going by what the tech told me.
Is it normal in pre labour to get hot flushes when you get tightenings? I get really clammy and yuk but it only lasts a little longer than the tightening, I also get really tight in the chest and my heart rate rockets (hense the tests I have to have on my heart tomorrow) sorry for dumb questions they just look at me stupid when I ask something here or don't know or well you've all read how incapable the majority are

I threw up and got clammy with my pre labour, it's how I knew it was the start of things and not just bh. I hope you get answers in the morning.
I throw up when I eat ... Oh maz predicted Easter babies in fact I don't want to eat but have made myself pick at food when it's been offered

LOL if you talk to Maz again, ask her if she has any predictions for me!
Oh gosh, MrsS, just saw this thread, hoping your little boys stay in there a wee bit longer!
Crossing fingers for slowing labor & both bubs being OK.
Seems they are giving you the run around. I would be so p***ed at the moment as all you want are answers. All this drama is making me happy I'm going to St John's and not the Base.
Have they arranged to have one of the OB's see you as I know they all cover the Base when they are on call??
No they haven't Kelly they haven't even check the us report from yesterday I just had a dr come in then saying something about when my heart scans done I can go home?!
Typical the day Lloyd HAS to work and won't finish til 5 I can go home but can't drive ... This hospital ****s me!

Oh dear :(
I am really concerned with your hospital treatment atm. I really hope things settle down for you x
Be strong, but I think it might be time to chuck a tantrum and see if that helps ;)
Hang in there. How is the pain?
That's such BS, I would drive you home as I have my Ob appt today but it's not until 4pm and who knows how far behind they will be. I'd probably get there the same time as your DH. I think it is pretty bad sending you home when you have NO answers, will have no chance to rest and without seeing an Ob. I can just imagine now you will be constantly stressing about what is happening to your little boys in there until you can see them on the outside.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to get through the next 2 weeks, that's all we want to make that magic 34 week mark.
I'm with Kelly, I don't get why they'd send you home when they have no answers. If they send you home where you can't relax and go into full blown labour, what then? They sound like they're doing a pretty rotten job :(
I'm also with jax, kick up a big fuss so they know you're not going anywhere til you know exactly what's happening, what the next steps are, and they start getting their act together

I'm confused! They just mentioned Melbourne again :( I just want to know what's going on my body is so tired I can't even tell what's going on with it.
Contractions are back to every 5 mins and measuring 70-80 on the taco, resting heart rate is 121bpm
I've had LOTS of very goopy almost jelly like discharge this morning no blood in it so it wouldn't be a show or plug or anything would it?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh you poor thing, I think now is a really good time to demand to speak with a DR. Sometimes they don't get that you have not really been spoken too, they assume someone has told you.
It sounds like a show to me, I only had a little bit of blood in mine at the start of it. You must be running out of energy you poor thing.
Oh honey, I hope they can stop it.
Which hospital would they send you to??
Just googled where you live, at least not too far away from Melbourne. I live 500km, one way, from Melbourne. And I had all my antenatal care there and got flown there at 31 weeks. I had a very sick little bubba.
Fingers crossed that your beautiful little boys stay in a bit longer.
I'm presuming the royal Womens it's where I had my son at 25 weeks and where I went when I was in pre term labour at 26 weeks with DD1

Hmm that does sound like your plug is really coming out and it could also be the start of your show. I would be digging in my heels and demanding to talk to someone who knows what is going on. You can't leave without having your questions answered. I think you are getting some pretty sucky treatment too.
