My body DID do everything right!

I just finished reading New actvive birth by Janet Balaskas. i so wish i had of read it sooner!!!
I've since learnt that my body didnt fail me with DD2's birth as i thought it had all this time.
The midwives weren't happy with me being in any sort of upright position because of the reaction they were getting on the ctg from DD2, and told me to lie flat on my back, which caused my labour to stall, and me being put onto a synto drip to get things going again.
i always knew that it stalled because i was on my back but obviously didnt know why.
But my body did exactly wat it was ment to, i was telling it to slow right down and it did!!
Feel very confident that my body will do exactly as it should with this upcoming birth, so glad i bought this book and to now have my confidence in my body back

Wonderful!! And it's absolutely true, your body CAN do it and knows just what to do to birth a baby efficiently.
