You're all so sweet, I really do appreciate each post that you make.

Well had a growth and wellbeing scan, Bub is.... wait for it 3879kgs give or take 500grams. I know scans aren't very reliable but TBH it doesn't scare me, big bubs mean healthy bubs to me so bring on the chubby bubby.

All else seems well. I'm just totally exhausted. I have a couch waiting for me.

Just popping in to send you some positive vibes & lots of strength Spring....although you've got it in bucket loads already I reckon. Just focus on harnessing the beauty and courage you already have inside.

Great news about your scan too!

    Rest up xx

Thanks guys. I have an ob appointment today and I'm positive induction is going to come up. DH is getting off work so he can come with me thank God. I think he felt horrible he couldn't be there for me last time given how upsetting it was. I'm almost certain they will offer a S&S but I'm going to say no (yet again )

I'm not feeling nervous, just hope it isn't the same ob as last week.

I'll update later in the afternoon.

Don't mind a Christmas baby at all Tanya.

ETA: Thankfully DS is young enough that we could re-schedule Chrismas for a few days later. I actually think a Christmas baby is kind of exciting.

Ok guys, temptation is setting in.

A question, is a S&S a form of induction? I know it might sounds stupid but TBH I don't know if it is formally a type of induction. Will it impact the labour like ARM or the drip? Eg make you go from 0 to 100% instantly. Will it have the negative effect such as higher chance of intervention?

    Thanks.

You must have posted at the same time i did. i had a S&S and i wouldnt have it next time. I did find that i missed all the little things that led to a natual labour.
I had the S&S at 7am, had a walk and a sleep and then at 4pm i suddenly had strong contractions, i may have been being a sook but it was suddenly 4 mins apart and was having trouble talking during them.

Oh wow Beck, how many weeks were you? How long did your labour end up lasting? I had a S&S with DS two and it didn't do anything except I lost my plug.

My appointment isn't for another hour and a half though. So I have time to think some more.
