Oh Spring....thats great to hear, even if its still a while till you actualy go into labour, your body and baby are getting ready for the end of your pregnancy! You should be very proud of your self that you have managed to wait for things to start on there own, even if its a slow start ( or not so slow...fingers crossed ) things sound like they have begun on there own!!! CONGRATS!
Hope everything goes well for you, hugs and good thoughts!! xx

I'm still here. Just had family over for tea. No more movement at the station. Still some pink CM but no cramping as such.

I feel so much better just knowing that things are moving. It has given me the courage to go past 40 weeks. I keep telling myself I don't want to be hooked up to the drip, I don't want to be monitered, I want to be able to get in the shower, I want bub to choose their birthday.

It's getting me through for now.

Spring - Have you tried visualise actually going into labour? I have had shows with all my labours and once they appeared I found time just to relax and imagine my body and my baby getting ready. I would imagine my cervix thining and bub moving down. This seemed to work for me.

Oh Spring it is fantastic to read that your body is doing what it is meant to be and getting all organised for you to meet your gorgeous little bubba. You are doing an amazing job!! Letting your bubba choose their own birthday is amazing. Keep up the great work!!

Well after such an eventful night on Monday night, last night, nuting, zilch. I actually slept quite well.

I've been pretty much staying at home 'in case' something happens but today I'm going to get out and go to a movie with a friend otherwise I think I'll go stir crazy.

Tomorrow I get to tick off my last goal. I think I'll go to my 40 week appointment, then come home and reassess my goals after talking to the ob. I've got at least a few more days in me.

    A slightly disheartened Spring xx

ETA: Dedicated Mummy I do know the sex but DH and I have been keeping it a secret. Hopefully not long until I can tell you all.

Sending you "quiet calm labour vibes". You KNOW you can do this. One day at a time!

A New Year's Eve (or New Year's Day) baby would be wonderful! What a lucky child to have a turn of the year birthday!

Bubba will choose his/her own day and be here in his/her own time. You CAN do this!

Spring - enjoy your outing and movie! Congrats for ticking off all your goals so far. Perhaps a bit of a stroll around the shops whilst you are out and about may keep your mind distracted. It does sounds like your body is getting started though.... You can do this and you will! Take care and remember to be kind to yourself too. xx

Spring - 1am on the 30th sounds great. Just my prediction My pre labour ceased completely on the night before DD was born. 2 nights before they were strong and regular and 4 minutes apart.

Enjoy the time out today. Relax and make the most of your final days with this beautiful little person squirming inside you. They will be out very soon filling your life with the joy of a new birth
