Ok so this is labour....

[Mum2Romone]

Im having Contractions 10 minutes apart and they are intense.

Id rate them a 7 or 8 they have me swearing inbetween panting which has continually become stronger since from about 7pm tonight when they started off 10 mins apart.

The last one had me gasping.... Soooo

How long until they should be closer together?

I already called my mum who is 5 hours away and told her to start coming as we want her to mind DS when its all happening, So Im hoping she will make it here in time and that the contractions will keep going strong because otherwise she will be here too early

Anything I should do to help keep them going?
With DS his labour was posterior and long and a totally different pain as he was all in my butt and back... this is all lower abd contractions

any advice would be great ... I realise its 4am

Woo hoo!!!

I don't know how useful I will be as my contractions were always close together... But, I would say if you want to get things moving (or keep them going), walk, i paced my length of house in the night, or bounce on a fit ball.
Stairs are good if you have them (but don't exhaust yourself)

How long til your Mum gets there? Do you have a back up plan incase you need to leave?

A bath could buy you some time if you need to slow things, but hoping in too early could stall labour... Try a shower, they are awesome!

They have definately become more intense over the last hour, Mums about 3 hours away she thinks. with her hubby so hopefully they make it , if not we all go to hospital and they will come there...

Super painfulll..... she has to come this labour couldnt possibly just die off now

Oh oh oh, hope things are moving along or your having snuggles.
Hope your mum makes it, my total labor with DD2 was 5hrs so I hope she made/makes it in time.
