So I know it's impossible to stop obsessing, I was doing what you are last week. In the end, I had to accept I can't control this, so I'll just deal with it when it happens.

People kept telling me that I'll know when it's the real thing, wow... Did I ever? I started off thinking I was constipated, but within 10 minutes I knew it was the real thing and was calling the hospital.
FYI - I had no bloody show, no breaking waters, no diarrhea... All the stuff they say you're 'meant' to have on the day/s leading up to the labour. I woke at midnight in pain, 2.5 hours later I had a baby.

What I am trying to say it over analysing everything got me nowhere, so you're better off just using the time to rest and get ready for the challenges ahead.
