    Pre labour question! Help please!

A very whingy pregnant lady here so I apologise in advance
I am 36 weeks 4 days pregnant. On tuesday I went to hospital with contractions that had been going all day and progressed to 6 mins apart but not very strong. I was 2 cms dilated and the midwife said the babys head was very low ( she said i could tickle your babys head from here! ) lol. Anyway they kept me overnight to see what would happen. The contractions just didn't intensify just went to about 3 mins apart. On Wednesday morning I lost my 'plug' and was 4 cms dilated, Yay some progress! But then all day yesterday nothing happened! The contractons kept going from 3 mins to 4 to 7 all over the place and not very strong! Just there! Sorry if its TMI but I also have this muckusy discharge that is a little bit tinged with blood that is there when I wipe. The doctors sent me home this morning (thursday) anyway with instructions to come in if anything happens!
My problem is... how long till something happens? And when will these contractions pick up? And what is painful enough to warrant another trip to the hospital? I am SOOOOOOO frustrated! I just want this baby OUT now!
Sorry about the vent! Any opinions would be great! Anything you can tell me about your experiences woul be so so so helpful!
    Thanks everyone!

Sorry, but you aren't going to like my response.... With the exception of the dialation I went through what you are now for 8.5 weeks. I went into threatned pre-term labour at 26 weeks and it just kept at it until he was born at 34+3.

I had a similar experience with my first... membranes ruptured at 28 weeks and then spent 2 weeks threatening labour before he was born at 30+1.

I have fingers crossed for you that it all progresses for you soon. The fact you are dialating is a good sign!
