I would recommend a spinal. My first was also an emergency c/s and I had an epi first, but it only numbed my left side!! Not fun! So they ended up giving me a spinal. Second c/s was scheduled and I had a spinal.......pure bliss. I did vomit after both though, because of the morphine though not the spinal!
