Hmmm can't help thinking that if you have a section purely for the convenience the inconvenience of motherhood (which i found INCREDIBLY hard to integrate at first) is going to be an even ruder shock!
Wish there was a way to get this information to the first time mum I met in the waiting room one day. When she found out that I had an emergency c-section last time she was excited. She crossed her fingers and went "I hope I get to have a c-section! I don't want the pain". I found that comment very sad and I just didn't know how to deal with it, other than advised her that there are pain relief options for labour. If only she knew the pain I went through before the c-section and after.
