Those whose first bub came 'early'...

I'm just curious to know if your first baby came before your EDD, did your second? I'll just be curious to compare....

Emma came 3 weeks early. My waters broke & went into labour then. I guess I'm hoping that means I have more chance of this bub coming early also. I found out bub is head down today, so that's a good start

Linda, I don't think it's neccessarily always the case. My gf had her first at 30 weeks and her next one was born at nearly 42 weeks, and yup, she was expecting to go much earlier.

I think you need to get the thought out of your head, but still have it in there somewhere Or else you will do your head in with the waiting.

My first bub came at 36w3d - water broke out of the blue.
My second bub made it to 38 weeks when I was induced. Even at 38 weeks he was still pretty cosy and showing no signs whatsoever of coming out on his own. I think he would've stayed in there to my due date.

    Oh.....

I think you are right Trish, I should try to get the idea out of my head....It's hard though, I really have been hoping/believing that this bub will also come early. I think I'm hoping it even more so because if I do go over, they won't induce, it will be straight back for another C/S, and I really don't want that..

Anyway, thanks for the honest answers - even if they weren't what I wanted to hear LOL!

Marisa was 3 days early and Elijah was more, I think it was 9. I think so many factors come into play, your own unique body and of course the baby's circumstances like position and health... so hard to say isn't it!

Aww Linda, sorry I didn't tell you what you wanted to hear huni. I guess the best things that you can do is try to prepare your body as best you can. Drink the RLT use the EPO and do all you can to give nature a helping hand.

I'm wishing you luck and sending you lots of come a week early vibes to you and your bubba

Thanks guys. No Trish - I'm glad you did - I really need to get my head around the possibility of going over. I think you are so right Jillian, they come when they are ready.

I'm just getting excited that's all.....

I had Alex six weeks early.

I was told that I'd be very lucky to get to 32 weeks with Ned.

The little bugger was 8 days late! Boy was I annoyed...
