Vaginal delivery of twins with no analgesia?

Hi!
I am nearly 18 weeks pregnant with monochorionic diamniotic twins. My 2 previous deliveries have been quick (first was 5 hours, second was 3 hours) and analgesia free.
I am very keen to avoid any unnecessary intervention and to have another natural analgesia free experience.
If anyone can tell me their experience I'd be very grateful.

I don't have any personal experience, but if you pop 'GabeandJesss' into a YouTube search, she has just had a completely drug-free vaginal delivery of twins in hospital. She has posted videos all about her birth plans etc, and in the next few weeks will post a video of her labour and births. There are also members on here who will definitely be able to help

I was going to suggest Traveller's birth story too I read it during my pregnancy. I vaginally birthed my twins but had an epidural because it was a VBAC. It was an amazing experience (coming from a girl who was happy to book in for a caesarian and have all drugs available.. My doctor had different ideas which I love him for now).

i have a girlfriend that birthed twins but i believe she had a epi...... ill ask her for you

We had an epi placed but not used, the reason given for this was that it's not uncommon for the second bub to suddenly find themselves with space and refuse to come down and engage once twin one has been birthed. Thankfully that wasn't and issue for us though and we avoided any other interventions.

Mostly happy with the info I got today. Disappointed with the news they KEMH (Perth's tertiary women's hospital) doesn't like doing vaginal deliveries if presenting twin is breech. I will have to read up about that. Obviously I don't want to put my babies at unnecessary risk, but not do I want an operative procedure with all the maternal morbidity (complications etc) associated with Caesarian. I live on a property 8 mins drive from the local town (1 hour walk on a windy hilly road with no footpath) and I do not want to be a prisoner in my own home with 2 babies, a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old!!!

You have the right to request or deny treatment and analgesia can't be forced on you!

Might be worth asking about drs at the hospital or in your area who support breech vaginal birth, because having someone skilled in this is harder to find. But I wouldn't think you'd need to worry about that scenario yet.

I know of an ob in Sydney who supports vaginal breech birth, if you like I can find you an email address and you could contact him for a recommendation of an ob in your area?
