I was induced twice and both from start to finish were 2 hour. Very intense as I went to 2nd stage straight away so had no build up.
Both mine were elective due to family and placenta situations. I totally understand why you are thinking this way having been bought up in the country.
Just remember it is your decision along with your Drs if you want to be induced.
