What is it that breaks the waters???

LOL, n2l, I had slight polyhydramniosis with DS1 and when they broke my waters, I thought I might drown while I was laying on the bed, fluid just leaked out and went everywhere!! I was wet from my shoulders to my feet, then after each contraction after that, more would come out!

I know 3little! Where does it all come from!!!??? Surely there's only enough in there to fill the uterus!
