Soooo...in the last half an hour, I've had 4 what I can only describe as small contractions, all 7-8 mins apart Not wanting to jinx anything...but this is getting kind of cool.

I've been stalking BB all day for posts from you hoping something was happening!

I started losing my plug from about 33 weeks so i never got the big glob of goo LOL! But a very close friend of mine said she lost hers at 4am the day she was due and then at 11:30 while at an appt she was 7cms dilated and by 2:30pm her son was born.

Good luck!!! Will be thinking of you!

Woohoo!! It's time we had some more births around here! It's been qiuet!

What you've described sounds like when I lost my plug! I was going to say to hold off on the excitement, it might last for a few days or weeks, mine did, but if you're getting contractions, then things could be moving along, I'm so excited for you hunny! I hope it all happens tonight or tomorros and you have your girl to snuggle soon!

I don't recall losing my plug and my bloody show didn't happen until I was 9cm dilated so I'm no help! Sure sounds like your plug though and yay for contractions! Get moving girl, become one with your fitball!

    OMG

How exciting ! Cheering you on all the way

I lost started to lose my plug with DS#2 the morning of the day that I had him. I went to the toilet and wiped and there was blood streaked mucous - I freaked cause I knew what it meant. I wasn't ready ! I also started having light contractions within an hour of that happening - they gradually built up as the day went on...

I started losing my plug a few weeks ago but only little bits.. And this is my third baby so I think my cervix is just softening and getting ready as it knows what it's in for!

Wishing you the most beautiful birth babe. Can't wait to hear all about it! I'm so excited!

Pool isn't even pumped up! DH is at work too I've been having contractions for over an hour now, about a minute long and between about 7-5 mins apart Pretty ouchy but nothing that I can't breathe and rock through. Hoping I'm not jinxing it all right now haha!

I expect a message as soon as you accept you're in labour, as well as updates, video, and photos once she's born (okay, maybe not all that... But I will be up all night anyway in anticipation )

ETA: Hell, give me an hour and I'll be there with you if you want PMSL

don't worry PZ - there's no amount of jinxing that can't stop a woman in labour

Sounds promising! I had DD1 3 days after plus loss and DD2 the day of plug loss - hopefully everything continues to progress smoothly from here (although not until DH is home and has that pool pumped up!)
