    What signs did you have??

I am curious to hear people's responses to this question.
With your previous pregnancies what signs did you have leading up to labour, or did you?

With my first, increased Braxton Hicks. With my second, increased Braxton Hicks about a week before then gradual loss of my plug with mild prelabour contractions for two nights before it finally started in earnest.
    Not long for you now!

With DD, nothing really just a teeny bit of period like pain the night before... I woke up the next morning with a hindwater leak but didn't go into full labour for another 24hrs.

With DS1, BH that I had for about 2 weeks became regular the day before, not painful though...they were every 8-10 minutes from the morning to that evening when they became uncomfortable... I went into full labour a few hours later.

DS2 I had plenty of BH but never went into labour, was induced at 10 days. Mind you, DS1 was 13 days late so maybe if they had let me go...

This time I am again getting plenty of BH & this time some of them are quite uncomfortable, but nothing regular yet much to my dismay

    Are you getting anything Jessica?

nothing really, i just sort of felt 'different'. Its hard to explain, for example, 10 days before my dd i knew that it wasnt going to be anytime soon then 5 days before i remember telling someone that i felt different and it wasnt going to be really soon but that i would be suprised if i went past my dd (i went into labour the day before my dd).
Maybe it was mothers/womens intuition or just wishfull thinking but i cant explain it except that i just felt like it was nearly time

My family thinks i'm insane but i'm almost ready to start placing bets on me going early. I've been getting BH more and more, increased mucous (tmi, sorry, i'm weirded out too), and i've just got this "feeling". Can't explain it, like my instinct is telling me to start packing my bags, cause something is going to happen at some point soon. Almost like a fight or flight feeling. Could be that i'm just insane and gettin ahead of my self, but my guts telling me to be ready for anything.

I have all kinds of crazy things. Like random period cramps...... very far apart. Pelvic pressure beyond belief like she might fall out. More discharge, I think i lost part of the plug too

I lost my plug on the tuesday, and then on the friday I had lots of braxton hicks for the whole day. My waters broke early satuday morning and labour started straight away with contractions 2-3 minutes apart. She was born on the saturday after 8 hours of labour. I didnt get weeks of pre-labour or anything like that, just a day of BH.

My sign was easy - waters breaking! 3 weeks early at that so really had no other signs at that stage. Hoping this one bakes for a little bit longer.

With Brendan I had PPROM (Premature Pre-Labour Rupture of Membranes) at 28 weeks, then mild contractions until they got serious at 30 weeks and he was born 30+1.

With Tristan I went into Threatned labour at 26+2 weeks, which pretty much continued (mild contractions starting and stopping) until they got serious at 34+2, he was born at 34+3.

Only a few more days and you'll be term hun

Nothing, I was induced one day after my due date due to signs of pre-eclampsia
If I decide to have another I'll be pushing to let me go into labour spontaneously as this would defitintely be my last chance to experience a spontaneous labour, something I really want!
