    Question what starts labour.

if its oxytocin that helps with the commencement of labour, will it also make mum feel incredible tired? with the levels increasing as i know oxytocin helps with sleep.

    any ideas?

i know there are many factors that bring on labour like bubs position etc..

Lets hope so because I've been so tired the last couple of days, lol.
Will be interested to see if anyone knows.

Honestly, I really don't anything starts labour (other than being induced of course) other than your bub deciding it's ready to make its grand entrance!
Hang in there you'll have that bubba in your arms before you know it. Good luck.

Lol Nai, no kidding, the night before I went into labour with #1, I was the biggest cow ever. We went to my parents for tea and they were GLAD to see me go! So you watch that.

Nelle, I am in the worst mood today - I yelled at someone who rang my number as a wrong number and woke me up from a nap.

Dee, I've had no luck with that one yet either although DP is still willing to keep trying to see if it works

Nai - I yelled at my mum for ringing me at 9.30 this morning which I know is perfectly reasonable in the real world but I too was napping hehehehehe

DF reckons he's happy to keep trying for as long as it takes .....

lol DD. and me being induced with DS1 at 10 days over im probably not the expert - but I did lose my plug the day before the induciton, and the day prior to that had accupuncture and a membrane sweep, so one or both of those may have helkped, or it could have been that thats when he was ready, cos I gel application and less than 18 hours later he was born

Semen is a mith man up by a man worried he wouldnt get enough sex after the baby is born!

I was a total cow before i had my last but it probably had nothing to do with the baby almost being born lol

ISNT IT so UNFAIR that the last weeks of pregnancy go so slow and the first few weeks with a new bub go so quick

i can vouch for the tiredness! i was snoozing nana-nap style on the couch when my waters broke in the afternoon. i was bone tired. luckily that snooze gave me the strength to keep labouring all through the night!
