Labour pain can't even be compared to a tattoo. A tattoo is a stroll in the park compared to labour.

It's a different type of pain for both, so IMO not comparable.
    Neither were unpleasant (for me).

Giving birth is a rush of pain that i'd love to endure again, whereas another tattoo scares the jeebies out of me. The 'tramp stamp' I got tattoed on my lower back at 15 is plenty of ink for me, I can't even stand the thought of getting any more piercings in my ears!! Vaginal tears though, no worries. Go figure!

    Um neither?

I dont feel that pain is neccesarily something to fear so it would take alot for me to feel that something is THAT painful. But this is coming from the woman who chopped the tip of her middle finger off and rendered her own first aid enabling Drs to stitch it back on with nothing but a ring block anaesthetic. I didnt even take any pain relief lol

Labour was worse by far for me! I could tell the tattooist I needed a break, but not the synto drip!

    Thanks everyone

I'm not scared either way. I've been through my fair share of pain in the past and i survived and coped very well. Maybe for my 25th birthday i will spoil myself and get both my kiddies names tattooed on me. I'm thinking feet for now but i'm sure that will change before next december.

My labour was the worst pain in the world but i would most definitely do it again.....obviously
