Willow - that's exactly what happened to me! I was overdue and my Ob was threatening an induction. I had acupuncture in the hope of bringing on labour. The night after the acupuncture, my waters broke, but there was no sign of labour, so eventually I had to have an induction anyway. Of course, it could have been a coincidence (I'd also been on a long walk and DTD that day!), but not sure I'd go down the acupuncture path again.
