Wiki homebirth article- very negative

I'm unsure of whether I should post the link but the article is called 'homebirth' on wikipedia. It says that homebirths are unsafe and have a transfer (to hospital) rate of approximately 16%. What?I can't seem to find any recent statistics on homebirths, does anyone know of any? I'd like to fix up this article (or perhaps someone more knowledgable on the topic here on BB would like to) since it's obviously biased. I've already removed part of the article that said that homebirthing midwives have no access to pain relief or medical equipment for complicated deliveries, which is wholly untrue (and was not referenced).

Help, anyone?

I hope this is in the right area by the way, I wasn't sure if it belonged here or in 'birth activism'.

edit: I should add that parts of the article are positive but the first part is negative. I think we can fix it!

I removed the part that said that homebirthing midwives didn't have pain relief or medical equipment to assist births that become complicated, perhaps it's fixed now since I removed that?

I think there's a way you can challenge the neutrality of an article on Wikipedia. Don't know how though, have never edited a Wikipedia article. I'm sure I've seen it though.

i guess it should read "generally midwies do not carry pain relief" (mine didnt) and the only medical equiptment they have is oxygen, syntocin and requirements for stitches (maybe a couple of other things)

It should also mention the fact than generlly pain relief is less called for as well.
