I didn't eat anything and only had some water to drink because my labour happened so quickly, but I packed lollies (snakes, raspberries and life savers), biscuits (milk arrowroot and scotch fingers), mints and some chocolate. We planned to take power aid powder but forgot.

Another that just sipped on water. I was hungry at the start with DS who was a day labour and they wouldn't let me eat because I had insulin controlled GD. But once things get going I don't even think about eating. I threw up water just after he was born and the midwife kept saying "oh, that is just water. You could bottle that up and drink it again..."

    Ew Arte!!

Just water here too. #2 and 3 were too quick, #1 I ate at home but it all came up in my "labour's-ramping-up-now" vomit!

Both my labours started out of no where and were over within 2 hours so I didn't have time to eat and because it was all so fast I was practically pushing the whole time so water, water, water and lots of it. Lots of breathing and pushing resulted in a dry mouth and it drove me crazy so I made sure I had a couple of water bottles in the hospital bag the second time around and I was more aware of what to expect and it paid off coz I drank them both

Just water for me also, as I was a chucker too.
I made the baaad mistake during DS2's labour to have a juice of some description - it was heave ho approx 30 seconds after it hit my stomach. Ick.
