Great story LimeSlice! Very well written and informative. Glad that you did actually get your VBAC in the end, even though it wasn't quite to plan. I'm totally with you on the need for doulas, as well as a rethinking of the whole medical model of birth - I've read so many stories where a woman was pretty much bullied into a c-section at her most vulnerable moments in labour. Hope we can make a difference and change things before our daughters get there!
